GraysLake Author Fest
The Grayslake Arts Alliance will have an Artist Trading Cards creation station and all ages are welcome to create an artist trading card to trade or keep. Create your own leather bookmark with step by step guidance from GAA member Sam the Jam Artist. Both activities are FREE and all supplies will be provided.
Grayslake Arts Alliance members will also be offering published books from their member authors and a wide array of bookish art including handmade art, bookmarks, greeting cards and more from their artist members!
Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
*The first 200 people in attendance receive swag bags. Bags donated by the Grayslake Village Center.

Lucky in lombard
Join us for our second annual event! Formerly Cuffed in Chicago, Lucky in Lombard is an author/reader event where the writers of adult/ya books join together with various vendors of book-related items for a one-day sale. You get to meet your favorite authors and models and create memories that last a lifetime. Come make new bookish friends and get all the books signed!

From the website: Join us for our popular fair showcasing local authors. Meet fiction and nonfiction authors writing for youth, teens, and adults, including some titles in Spanish and Gujarati. Many of the authors appearing this year are award-winning authors from these categories: Bram Stoker Award winner, NPR Best Book List, Ray Bradbury Creative Writing Prize, Illinois Indie Author Project “Soon to be Famous” Award, and more.
